If this is your first time coming down to Costa Rica you've probably heard friends, family and enthusiastic backpackers tell you about a tropical paradise where the people are friendly, the water is clean, the beaches are stunning and the surf is out of this world. Casa Colibri is right about there.
We're located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, in the Southern Region of the Nicoya Peninsula. The Casas are all in Santa Teresa a small stop along the road just past Mal Pais. Santa Teresa is pretty happening for a little town, with small cabanas, coffee shops, surf shops, internet cafes, restaurants and stores to provide you with the basic provisions -- food and drink -- all available. The town seems to be growing every day as the secret about this small corner of paradise spreads among the masses. Further up the dirt road is Mal Pais a town that has almost reached the status of thriving metropolis if you consider a town where everyone is wearing surf shorts and thongs an urban centre. Here you can get surfing lessons, rent bikes, eat out, grab an espresso and pick up a sarong while meeting folks from around the world.
